Practical Web Design

Creative Mouse Studio is the creative outlet of Sharon Yates. That's me! I am passionate about custom web design and development with hand-written source code where special attention is paid to web standards and accessibility. I am currently a Sr. Website Developer of Front End Technology at AT&T where I work on projects using my favorite tools HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and soon JSP.

Creative Mouse Studio is an entity under which I conduct freelance business. I take on small outside projects while working full-time at AT&T. With a full-time job I will limit my projects to one at a time depending on my availability.

Each website I work on is designed from scratch without using pre-built templates, so your design will be unique. Your site will be optimized for keyboard access and the layout will not break apart after a few text-size increases! (I find this very important for the optimal accessibility).

I have been interested in the inner workings of the web since its inception. My attention to detail is evident in my site designs, which emphasize clean displays of content while facilitating great user experience.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time traveling, scuba diving, underwater photography, dancing, music, and reading.
